You are correct. The A6 Voice-Of-The-Theatre used a standard 8256 loaded with 3156 woofers.
Is an 8256 an A6A, or is an 8256 just the LF enclosure for the A6A unit?

There are at least three incarnations of the A6 of which the 8256 looks lthe same as the bottom half of the most recent one minus the mantaray.

I have 8, 4 with dark cones (black, matches the surround and dustcap), 4 with grey-er cones (do not match black surround/dustcap).
